Who is DCAJetboy...

DCAJetboy is Roger Lotz, a former U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) staffer, who worked on Congressional and Public Affairs issues. He also staffed legislators in both houses of Congress. With an extensive background in television, radio, and new media, Roger has returned to journalism.

Roger possesses a proven, successful management background and excellent oral, written and new media communication skills. In pursuing his goals, he enjoys "making the ordinary extraordinary."  To acquire his spokesperson position at USDOT, which would require him to discuss aviation issues, he first obtained a job as a flight attendant for American Eagle, one of the country’s largest and most successful regional airlines. It is at American Eagle where Roger got the Jetboy moniker.

From 2003 to 2014, Roger could be found at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) working as a Travelers Aid volunteer. Travelers Aid agencies and programs in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada and Australia served more than 6.5 million people in 2009 at thirty-six transportation centers (airports, train and bus stations). In the Washington, DC area, Travelers Aid services can also be found at DCA, Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) as well as Union Station. His work with Travelers Aid has been highlighted in USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
